Do not spray others NO!!
Do Not Go Near Others
Do not go near others to spray or splash them with water.
Intake grate danger NO!!
Keep Away from Intake Grate
Long hair, loose clothing, or PFD straps can become entangled — severe injury or drowning.
Don't release throttle
Do Not Release Throttle when Trying to Steer
You need throttle to steer. Take Early Action to Avoid Collisions — WaveRunners have no brakes.
Avoid aggressive maneuvers NO!!
Avoid Aggressive Maneuvers
Ride within your limits. Avoid maneuvers that risk loss of control, ejection, or collision. Do not jump wakes or waves.
No throttle at rear NO!!
Do Not Apply Throttle when Anyone is at the Rear
Never apply throttle when anyone is at the rear of the WaveRunner.
Basic Operations
Keep Lanyard Attached

  • Always attach the lanyard (engine shut-off cord) to your wrist and clip it to the engine shut-off switch BEFORE starting the engine.
Know How to Start & Stop
Start button START

Lanyard attached — push the start button.

Stop button STOP

Push stop. Stopping the engine does NOT stop forward motion — loss of steering results.

THROTTLE
Throttle lever
  • Throttle lever controls speed. Apply to accelerate, release to slow down.
  • Handlebars direct the jet nozzle. Without throttle you cannot steer the WaveRunner.
